LITTLE WOMEN
Reading is not one of my favorite hobbies, I prefer to wait until the movie comes out.
As a teenager one of the books that was fashionable was "Little Women". It was recommended by my friends.
Little Women is the story of March, customary labor and family suffering. Although the father is away serving in the Union Army, the sisters Meg (beautiful), Jo (talented), Amy (temperamental) and Beth (the shy) keep their spirits up with his mother, who is affectionately called Marmee. The novel tells the progress the young made in their lives, with touches of romance, Beth's terminal illness, the pressures of marriage and the outside world. It is the story of maturity, growth, wisdom and the pursuit of happiness of family life.

This is a book I remember with love for two reasons, because it is much about teenagers' topics, growing and maturing and also because you love the characters and, sometimes, you even feel identified with some of them.
It is a very tender and nice story, sometimes I feel sorry for any of the characters, others I feel happy for them. I love this book, the truth about my childhood.
Among the topics that are covered in the book it is maleness, the freedom to be whoever you want, as well as the path to grow and find oneself. This book makes you understand the time it was written, when women did not have many rights and did not work.
The book is full of stories of love, marriage proposals and youth dreaming of their future. Another mather discussed in the book and very present is war.
In summary, this book helps you grow in every way ...
Generally I like this type of novels and also thrillers and intrigue books.

  1. This book is one of my favorite novels. My mother gave it to me and my sister as a Christmas present when we were young and soon we fell in love in love with the characters. I really recommend it. And if you have the chance, watch the movie too. It is beautiful and a perfect representation of the book.
